Texas Wesleyan: Played for three seasons on the NAIA level under head coach Richard Johansen... A member of Rams teams that were conference champions, finished second in the regionals and fifth in the nation.

Polivalente High School: A second team all-conference selection.

Personal: Daughter of Joao and Vilma Gualberto... Has two older brothers, Diego and Hugo, and an older sister, Gabriela... Majoring in physical education... Performed community service for a shelter in 2003.

Club: Played for the Sparta Volley Club from 1996-2000.
