Fourth-Ranked Argonauts Match Suspended Until Friday

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - Fourth-ranked West Florida must wait until Friday to finish their quarterfinal match. Due to rain in the Orlando area, the Argonauts match against sixth-ranked California University of Pennsylvania was suspended Thursday with West Florida leading, 3-0.

After sweeping the doubles competition, Suzana Cavalcante (Sao Paulo, Brazil) was up one set in the first position. Tammy Kevey (Auckland, New Zealand) won the first set and was up 3-0 in the second set. California University of Pennsylvania's three singles players in the third, fourth and fifth position were leading in the first set. Anne Clarie Beard (Villevaude, France) was up one set in the sixth position.

The match will resume at 8:00 a.m. EST on Friday.
