2004: Started all three matches and played every minute of each match...Part of the defense that did not allow a goal in 270 minutes..

2003: Became just one of three Argos all-time to earn NSCAA/adidas All-America honors on the Third Team... Also a member of the All-Gulf South Conference First Team and NSCAA/adidas All-South Region First Team... One of four Argos to start all 23 games... Averaged 89.5 minutes per contest on a defense that set a school-record G.A.A. of 0.47 with the fewest goals allowed (11) in team history... Also helped lead the defense to the most shutouts in the conference with 15, nine consecutive, and the GSC's best G.A.A... Added four goals... Scored the game-winning goal in the GSC win over Montevallo... Honored the GSC Defender of the Week after anchoring the defense to a 2-0 shutout over Montevallo and a 6-0 blank of regional opponent Saint Leo, allowing only five shots by each team... Named to the GSC All-Tournament Team after playing complete games for the weekend.

2002: Started and played in all but one game... Averaged 80.8 minutes per game... One of the starters of a defense that posted a team G.A.A. of 1.33 and eight shutouts... Named GSC Defender of the Week after playing every minute in wins over Alabama-Huntsville (2-1) and Lincoln Memorial (5-0), limiting LMU to just five shots... Made the GSC All-Tournament Team.

Brevard: Played her first year of collegiate soccer for the Lady Tornados under current UWF assistant caoch Colleen Bartlinski.

Club: Played for the Asheville Splash Women's Soccer W League in 2001 and 2002... Started the most games of any player in 2001, and scored the first goal in the franchise's first year.

High School: A three-time letterwinner for the Bears... Started in every game of her career... Was a Top 10 scorer in the Region... Named the Most Valuable Player her junior and senior years... Made the All-Region Second Team... Also competed in softball, track, junior varsity basketball and cross country... Team captain of the soccer and softball teams.

Personal: Daughter of Felix Marrero and Maria Garcia... Volunteered for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection in the Greenhouse section for the Greenshores Project in Pensacola Bay... Built houses in Olancho, Honduras and California... A member of the UWF Mountain Biking Club, the Student Tibetan Club and the Green Earth Alliance Club... Majoring in Environmental studies/policy.
