Colleen Bartlinski joined the UWF women's soccer coaching staff in 2003 after a year-long stint as the interim head coach at NAIA Brevard College.
Bartlinski led the Tornados to an 8-9 record in 2001 in her first head coaching experience. She had been an assistant coach at Brevard from 1993 to 1999.
In between coaching duties at Brevard, Bartlinski served as an assistant coach at Clemson in the 2000 season. The Tigers posted an impressive overall record of 17-2-1 and an Atlantic Coast Conference record of 5-1-1, advancing to the NCAA Division I Tournament.
Bartlinski played collegiately at Brevard for her first two years, and she earned All-America honors in 1990. She moved on to finish her college career at Berry College in Georgia, where she was a two-time NAIA All-American.
Bringing much experience with her to West Florida, Bartlinski also holds an National Soccer Coaches Association of America National Coaching License. She earned an associates degree from Brevard and an international business degree from Berry. Formerly Colleen Runion, she is married to UWF women's soccer head coach Joe Bartlinski, and the couple have two daughters, Christina McKenzie and Jordan.
