PENSACOLA, Fla. - The University of West Florida women's golf team is volunteering at the 7th Annual Panhandle Charitable Open, a charity golf tournament at Marcus Pointe Golf Club in Pensacola on September 19-20. The tournament has raised thousands of dollars for local charities, including this year's primary charities Child Guardians, Inc., Council on Aging of West Florida, and Gulf Coast Kids House.
The Argonauts will compete with golfers on Hole 3 on Saturday. Tournament participants will attempt to best a college golfer in getting closer to the hole on a Par 3, with a grand prize of $250. For more information on the tournament, visit the home page at www.pcogolf.org.
