PENSACOLA, Fla. - After clinching their fourth consecutive appearance to the Gulf South Conference Tournament on Tuesday, West Florida (12-12, 5-4 GSC) will look for their third straight win Saturday. West Florida will host Montevallo (14-10, 6-3) at the UWF Field House at 4:30 p.m.

Trailing by one, Karmeshia Easley (Mobile, Ala./Spring Hill College) hit a driving lay up with five seconds remaining to give West Florida a 65-64 win over West Georgia on Tuesday. The win clinched a GSC Tournament berth for the Argonauts. Dominique Boykins (Houston, Texas/North Shore HS) scored 20 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Tara Russ (Lake Park, Fla./Kings Academy) added 12 points, while Abena Bosia (Orlando, Fla./Columbus State) pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds.

Montevallo is coming off a 67-66 win at North Alabama on Monday. The win was Montevallo's second straight and fourth in the last five games. Montevallo won the earlier season meeting 62-44, but West Florida holds a 19-5 advantage in the series since the 1994-95 season.
