PENSACOLA, Fla. - West Florida (7-8) hopes to snap a four-game losing skid against West Georgia (8-7) on Saturday at 4:30 p.m., and dash the memories of an 87-57 home loss to eighth ranked Florida Gulf Coast on Wednesday. Samantha Schlaegel (Port Huron, Mich./Bethune-Cookman) averages 10.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. She is shooting 42.0 percent from the field, and 43.5 percent from three-point range. Laura Davis (Spanish Fort, Ala./Univ. of Mobile) averages 10.1 points and Abena Bosia pulls down 9.3 rebounds per contest.

Despite going winless over the past four games, Tara Russ (Lake Park, Fla./Kings Academy) has been a bright spot for the Argos. Russ has averaged 10.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 2.8 steals per game over the past four games.

West Georgia last their last game at Clayton State, 48-45, breaking a four game winning streak. The Wolves also lost to Florida Gulf Coast, 67-38, on Dec. 2. Rita Grayson leads the Wolves by averaging 11.2 points and 4.5 boards per game.
