PENSACOLA, Fla. - Playing for the first time in nine days, top-ranked West Florida continued their winning ways with a 7-2 win over 14th ranked BYU-Hawaii on Tuesday at the Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex. West Florida (16-2) won their third straight, while BYU-Hawaii (9-1) dropped to 4-10 all-time against West Florida.

West Florida started the match by sweeping the doubles competition. The Argonauts fourth-ranked doubles team of Nicolas Barrientos (Cali, Colombia) and Dante Bottini (Buenos Aires, Argentina) improved to 13-3 on the season with their first position doubles win.

West Florida also won four of the six singles matches in straight sets. Fourth-ranked Diego Zorzi (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and ninth-ranked Bottini only lost five games in their straight set wins. Zorzi remained perfect in singles at 9-0 while Bottini improved to 8-3 on the season.

West Florida will return to action on Tuesday against 13th ranked UC-San Diego. West Florida leads the all-time series, 3-0. The match will begin at 2 p.m. CST at the Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex.
