INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

We always have a few international players on our roster here at The University of West Florida. If you are currently living abroad the best thing you can do is attend one of our camps so that we can see you play. We rarely offer scholarships to players no matter where they come from without having seen them play. In order to receive strong consideration without traveling to Florida for a tryout or camp please provide the following;

1) Official translated copies of your transcripts from all schools attended since you were age 14.
2) A completed international application for admission to The University of West Florida.
3) A resume of your soccer career complete with reference contact information from coaches at the highest possible level, preferably ones who have coached or played in the university system here in the United States.
4) A video which can be played back on the USA DVD or VHS systems
5) A printed copy of the attached International Student Questionnaire completed and returned via regular mail not the submitted on line version.

Please package all of this information together and mail it to the following address. DO NOT SEND IT SEPERATLY!

However, please understand that I get many emails per day from players all over the world. This information will allow us to communicate in depth about the possibility of you playing for our team. We do have non-scholarship, partial scholarship, and nearly full scholarship positions available. I must know you are serious about our university before my staff spends its valuable time researching your academic and soccer background that is why it is imperative that you send us all the information requested. This will prove you are very seriously interested in UWF and worth our time to research. I must stress that to give yourself the best possible chance of being recruited, you should attend a tryout or camp.
