PENSACOLA, Fla. - West Florida represented more than half of the 2007 All-GSC First Team, as the Argos nabbed six selections to the 11 player first team squad. West Florida forwards Keith Savage and Jimmy McHenry, midfielder Nick Mroczkowski, defenders Okang Nkosi and Nolan Intermoia, along with goal keeper Juan Garcia were all first team selections.
Savage, the 2003 GSC Freshman of the Year, became just the tenth player in league history with three First Team selections. The gulf Breeze native is second in West Florida history with 24 career assists on shy on the UWF record.
Fellow senior McHenry joins Savage as one of three attackers selected to the first team. The Tallahassee native, a 2006 second team selection, lead the Argonauts with 16 goals and his 25 career goals is eighth in school history. McHenry was one of three unanimous selections.
Mrockwoski who has played over 5,000 minutes in the past three seasons earns his second All-GSC honor and first team selection. The senior captain is an important part of both the offense and defense.
After two consecutive seasons on the All-GSC Second Team, defender Nolan Intermoia was named to the First Team in his junior year, while fellow defender Nkosi was tabbed for his first All-Conference team.
