         <description><![CDATA[The Gulf South Conference announced the fall sport All-Academic First Team selections, and Honor Roll selections for Football, Soccer, Volleyball, and Cross Country. The Argonauts earned six first team selections, and 37 other earned honor roll selections. West Florida was third in the conference with the 43 selections. Only Harding (73), and Ouachita Baptist (50) had more honorees, and both of those schools have football. In fact, Harding had 30 football players, and Ouachita Baptist had 10 football players, so excluding football, the Argonauts tied with Harding for the top total of 43 honorees.]]></description>

Senior striker Jimmy McHenry garnered first team honors, while teammate Juan Garcia earned third team honors. McHenry and Garcia were a large part of a team record 18 straight wins this season, and a team ranking as high as third in the nation, going into the post-season.]]></description>

Defender Okang Nkosi, and forward Jimmy McHenry were named to the first team, along with junior goalkeeper Juan Garcia. Senior Midfielder Nick Mroczkowski earned second team nomination. The four Argonauts represented the most from any team in the region to earn the All-Region accolades.]]></description>
