West Florida Men's Golf in 6th Place at the Hartford Hawks Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. - The West Florida Men's Golf team (595) trails leader Old Dominion (578) by only 17 strokes after the first two rounds at The International Course in Boston, Mass. Matthew Galloway was the Argos top scorer at even par 144 through the first two rounds. Galloway posted a 74 and 70 to come in as the fifth best score so far. The Argos are currently in 6th place, out of the 13 teams at the tournament.

The overall leader is Keegan Bradley of St. John's University, who is -3 after the first two rounds (141). Penn State University is currently in second place in the team score with 584. The final two rounds of the Hartford Hawks Invitational will be played tomorrow.

The other scoring individuals for West Florida include; Kyle Scott in 11th place with a score of +4 (148), Federico Damus in 24th place with a score of +7 (151), Kevin Cooper in 32nd place with a score of +9 (153), and Ryan Zebeau in 60th with a score of +18 (162). The competition is primarily Division I opponents, and the Argos are performing admirably. The Men were ranked 3rd in Division II pre-season reports, and have their major competitive season in the spring.
