PENSACOLA, Fla. - Late inning heroics and another outstanding pitching performance helped West Florida (4-3) win game two of today's double header against Stillman College (0-4), 2-1. The Argos swept today's double header, and have won four straight games after starting 0-3.

Jacob Whisenhunt's lined drive to left center landed safely in the gap, allowing pinch runner Kyle Andrews to score easily from second base lifting UWF to victory. Bo Williams led off the seventh and final inning with a walk off Stillman reliever Matt Beasley. Clay Wallace executed a sacrifice bunt that advanced Andrews to second base.

West Florida was spirited by the play of starting pitcher Jordan Berry. He pitched six innings, allowing one run on four hits. He struck out eight and walked three. Phil Lawhorn (1-0) got the win by pitching a scoreless seventh inning. Beasley picked up the loss for Stillman. Tiger's starter Chase Wilson tossed six complete innings. Wilson allowed no earned runs on five hits. He struck out three and walked six.

Stillman took a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Lucas Smith singled with one out, and Josh Massey walked. Sean Blair loaded the bases with a single. Berry walked Nathan Moncrief to force in Smith from third base.

West Florida tied the game at 1-1 in the second inning. Kyle DeBos was hit by a pitch. Kyle Brown and Jon Reed both walked to load the bases. DeBos scored on a wild pitch.

West Florida left 11 runners on base, while Stillman stranded nine baserunners. Whisenhunt and Reed each went 2-for-3.

Tomorrow's double header with Stillman begins at 1:00 pm. Game one will be a nine inning game, and game two will be seven innings. Follow the action using "Live Stats" on goargos.com
