Andrews, from Fort Walton Beach, led the Argos in eight offensive categories this season. The Lead off hitter was a catalyst for the Argonaut offense, which averaged nearly six runs per game as a team. Andrews scored a team high 54 runs, while batting .351 for the season.]]></description>

The Argos bounced back strongly, after the Blazers beat them twice during Saturday's double-header. UWF pounded out 17 hits in the season finale, to go out with a win. Billy Whitaker pitched six strong innings to earn the win to improve to 4-2 on the year.]]></description>

Starting pitcher Jon Sintes pitched his first complete game of the season while striking out four batters and allowing four runs. Sintes improved to 2-4 on the season, as he outdueled four Senators pitchers. West Florida broke on top with two runs each in the seventh and eighth innings with solid at bats and timely hitting. The Argos made the most of five hits, and are now19-29 overall this season with four games remaining.]]></description>

The University of West Florida Argonauts were leading until the seventh inning became a nightmare, and after that, the Chargers didn't let it go, as they defeated the Argos 9-6. UWF starter Matt Collins was on pace for an outstanding outing thru six innings, but the seventh inning would never end until two other pitchers made their way to the mound. West Florida had a 6-4 lead on the strength of only three hits, but it didn't hold up.]]></description>
