After a successful cross country and track career for head coach Matt Dobson, Ramad Hicks is in his second season as assistant coach. Hicks ran for the Argonauts from 2001 to 2004 and earned All-GSC Second Team honors in 2002. In 2005 Hicks became the first West Florida track athlete to earn All-America honors. He advanced to nationals and participated in the finals of the 800 meters where he finished eighth. Hicks holds the school record in the 400 and 800 meters, and he was a member of the school record distance medley team in 2003.

Hicks is a native of Niceville, Fla.
