West Florida Season Ends at South Regional

MEMPHIS, TENN. - The UWF women's cross country squad ended their season today with a 16th place finish among 27 teams at the NCAA Division II South Regional. University of Tampa, Harding University and Kennesaw State University took the top three spots, respectively, to advance to the national meet.

Naomi Evangelista was the Argonauts' top finisher at 75th place with a time of 25:27.in the 6K race. Dawn Kane came in 80th with a time of 25:39; Lindsey Failing was 91st in 25:52; Kim Burgess came in 94th with a time of 25:56; Jen Pulmano ran a time of 26:19 for 101st place; Summer Forester was 128th with 27:55; and Kim Gallagher was 130th in 27:55.
