Argonauts Dominate Dual Meet With Badgers
PENSACOLA, FLA. West Florida posted eight of the top 10 times
as the Argonauts prepared for next Saturdays Gulf South Conference
Championships with a dual meet win over Spring Hill College on Saturday
at the Escambia County Equestrian Center. West Florida won with 20 points.
Spring Hill recorded 83 points.
Michael Padilla finished
the 5K race first overall with a time of 15:22. Caleb Carmichael followed
Padilla in second place with a time of 15:55. Brian Gowin crossed the
finish line in fourth place with a time of 16:09.
West Florida posted
the sixth through tenth places. Sam Ishees time of 16:18 was good
for sixth. Craig Henry finished seventh with a time of 16:24. Brian Miller
finished one second behind Henry in eighth with a time of 16:25. Dan Bauer
placed ninth with a time of 16:37, and Justin Gates time of 16:40 was
good for tenth.
