Michael Padilla

NASHVILLE, TN - Michael Padilla and Ramad Hicks continued their amazing spring track season this past weekend at the Vanderbilt Track and Field Invitational in Nashville, TN.

West Florida finished 10th out of 21 teams. Fourteen of the 21 represented schools were NCAA Division I affiliates. West Florida finished higher than any other Division II/NAIA team. Arkansas State won the meet.

Padilla won the 3000 meter race with a time of 8:33.47. He finished third in the 1500 meter run with a 3:56.14 time. Hicks was second in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:52.42. Sam Ishee was 15th in 3000 meter (9:16.55), and Caleb Carmichael was 17th (9:23.18). Dan Bauer was 13th in the 3000 meter steeplechase.
