Argos Fare Well at McGuire’s 5K

PENSACOLA, FLA. - Seven members of the West Florida women’s cross country team participated in the McGuire’s St. Patrick’s Day 5K on Sat., Mar. 12, in Pensacola. Dawn Kane, Naomi Evangelista, Kimberly Burgess, Lindsey Failing, Jennifer Pulamo, Summer Forester and Frency Ramos finished with a combined time of 1:43:27 to place second among female teams.

Individually, three West Florida runners finished in the top 10 of female participants. Kane paced the Argonaut team with a time of 19:21, finishing second overall in the women’s division. Evangelista finished ninth with a time of 20:42 while Burgess finished right behind her in 10th with a time of 20:46. Also finishing for West Florida was Failing (21:06), Pulamo (21:32), Forester (21:47) and Ramos (22:09).
