Jennifer McGranahan is in her first year as women's cross country and track graduate assistant.
McGranahan was active in cross country, track and fitness in Colorado Springs, Colo. She served as the coach for the Carmichael Training Systems in Colorado Springs. She was also the assistant aquatics manager and youth swim coach for three years at the Country Club of Colorado. McGranahan served one season as the assistant boys swimming coach at Harrison High School in Colorado Springs.
McGranahan served two seasons as head coach of the St. Mary's High School boys and girls cross country squads. She was also an assistant track and field coach for one season at St. Mary's.
McGranahan was a two-time All-Southeastern Conference (1997 & 1998) and all-region (1998 & 1999) selection at the University of Florida. She was a member of the Florida team that won the 1997 SEC Cross Country and Indoor Track Championships. McGranahan ran the 5K and the 10K as a member of the Gators track team.
A native of Pensacola and a graduate of Pensacola High School, McGranahan earned her bachelor's degree in sports management from the University of Florida. She is currently pursing a master's degree in exercise science from West Florida.
