PENSACOLA, Fla. - The University of West Florida Cheerleading squad will be holding their spring clinic and try-outs for potential new members for the 2007-08 season. Dates of the clinic are April 17 and 19 in the UWF Field House, building 54 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. Judging will be held on Friday, April 20 in the HLS Building 72 at the same time.

New members must be UWF students in good standing, and must complete a required medical packet and provide a current physical prior to the clinic. Those interested are asked to come dressed appropriately for cheer practice.

Squad members cheer primarily for men's and women's basketball, but are also involved in other athletic and university events throughout the year, as well as fundraisers and community service projects. Practices are typically three times per week, and does not include strength and conditioning sessions.
