What is the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee? (SAAC)
|
The University of West Florida Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is an organization made up of student-athletes who want the opportunity to make a positive impact on athletics. Not only will their voices be heard in their respective athletic department, but also on a conference and nationwide level as well.
The University of West Florida Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is represented by at least two athletes from each athletic team. The student-athletes attend monthly meetings in order to discuss topics occurring in the NCAA and Gulf South Conference, along with upcoming community and athletic events, legislation, changes happening in the UWF Athletic Department, and any other important information pertinent with UWF Athletics.
