PENSACOLA, Fla. - Start searching in your car and under the couch! The University of West Florida's Student Athlete Advisory Committee is proud to spearhead the Make-A-Wish Foundation Spare Change Drive at this Monday's men's and women's basketball games at the UWF Field House.

During Monday's home games against West Alabama, members of SAAC will be walking through the stands and collecting money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.

The Division II National SAAC has developed a Make-A-Wish Foundation division-wide sponsored fundraising campaign to raise at least $100,000. Last year, the Division II National SAAC raised $116,950.40.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation was founded in 1980 and has reached out to more than 144,000 children worldwide. The foundation has enhanced the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions by making their dreams and wishes a reality.

Come out to the UWF Field House this Monday to help West Florida SAAC reach their donation goal of $500.
